During high-speed operation, static sparks can be generated in the centrifuge. If the materials inside contain flammable and volatile gases, such as alcohols, benzenes, esters, etc., there is a risk of explosion.

Currently, the most common industry solution involves nitrogen replacement. However, the nitrogen replacement time is generally based on production experience, nitrogen pressure readings, or continuous nitrogen protection. Unfortunately, these approaches are not scientific and fail to provide accurate real-time oxygen level feedback from the centrifuge. This often leads to inefficient nitrogen usage and an increased risk of frequent explosion accidents.
