Conventional practice: (1) The principle of PID photoionic formula is selected: the characteristic is that the range of measuring range is too narrow
(0-10000PPm), the data is accurate; However, when encountering high-concentration components, it is easy to over-range and damage the sensor components, and the maintenance and replacement costs are too high.

(2)Selection of FID flame combustion principle: characterized by fast detection response, accurate data, wide range of range, wide adaptation to gas; However, the procurement and maintenance costs are high, and online detection cannot be carried out continuously, which is easy to be damaged, and can be used to meet the sampling conditions.

(3)The principle of infrared rays is selected: it is characterized by fast detection response, accurate data, wide range (0-50000PPm), the sensor is not easy to damage, and the maintenance cost is low; However, when encountering special gas components, it is necessary to check whether they can be measured in advance.

In view of the above situation, our company uses the infrared principle and adopts the German high-quality sensor Dynament/SST, which can control the accuracy at the PPm level; Pre-sampling pretreatment (electric pump + dust tar removal + water removal + constant flow + venting) + on-site numerical display can quickly respond to the total amount of VOCs in the pipeline and extend the service life of the system to 3-5 years; According to the production needs, the data can also be remotely transmitted to DCS/PLC/GDS through 4-20mA to achieve overall automatic control.
