FIX2100 Gas Alarm Controller
The gas alarm controller is suitable for standard 4~20mA current signals and RS485 bus control signals. It utilizes a high-performance microcontroller for control and processing, ensuring stable operation.
The controller connects to gas detectors to continuously monitor toxic and harmful gases in the environment. Based on the received input signals, it displays the concentration of the measured gas and can communicate with an upper computer via RS485 digital signals.
The controller allows for the setting of two-level alarm values. When the monitored gas concentration exceeds the standard, it triggers sound and light alarms according to different alarm levels.
Through the menu, users can query data records, alarm records, system logs, and alarm channels. Additionally, the controller can control external devices, such as queuing systems or other equipment, via relay outputs.

Functionality
- Supports concentration unit switching between PPM, μmol, mg/m³, %VOL, and mg/L.
- Supports both Chinese and English operating system interfaces.
- Automatic data storage with customizable intervals; stores up to 100,000 data points with date and time stamps. With optional micro TF storage card, supports over 10 million data points.
Connectivity and Output
- Supports USB data download and RS485 output.
- Compatible with micro portable printers for serial port printing.
Alarm Function
- When the monitored gas concentration exceeds the set first-level (A1 low alarm) or second-level (A2 high alarm) thresholds, the buzzer emits a continuous sound, the concentration alarm indicator lights up, and the general relay activates.
- If a fault occurs in the gas detector connection (e.g., no signal output, disconnected or shorted transmission lines), the buzzer emits a continuous sound, and the fault indicator lights up.
Main and Backup Power Automatic Switching Function
- When the main power fails, the controller automatically switches to the backup power. When the main power is restored, it switches back automatically.
- The working status of the main and backup power is indicated by LEDs.
- The main power charges the backup power when active, and the backup power switches to a floating state once fully charged.
Alarm Output Control Function
- Alarm output relays can be extended as needed (customizable) to control external firefighting, ventilation, alarm, or other equipment.
Self-Check Function
- Upon startup, the controller automatically checks the functionality of its panel indicators, buzzer, and relays.
- The self-check menu allows manual testing of status indicators, the buzzer, and relays.
Current Calibration Function
- The controller can calibrate input 4mA and 12mA current signals to ensure signal synchronization.
- For RS485 signal versions, this function is also supported.
Data Recording Function
- Historical data records can be queried via the menu, with customizable data storage intervals.
- When a channel's gas concentration exceeds the set alarm threshold, the system automatically records the channel number, concentration value, and alarm time.
Communication Function
- The controller has one RS485 interface for easy data transmission to other control devices or computers.
- Default settings: Address = 5, Baud rate = 115200.
Parameter Setting Function
- System parameters, such as date/time, measurement range, resolution, alarm levels, channel masking, and installation location, can be viewed and modified at any time.
