When centrifuges operate at high speeds, static sparks can be generated. If the materials inside contain combustible and volatile gases such as alcohols, benzenes, or esters, there is a potential safety hazard of explosion.
Currently, the industry mostly addresses this issue by using nitrogen purging. The duration of the purging process is typically determined in one of three ways: based on production experience, monitoring nitrogen pressure, or continuously maintaining nitrogen protection. However, these methods are not scientific, as they fail to provide accurate feedback on the oxygen levels inside the centrifuge or result in the waste of nitrogen resources. This has led to frequent centrifuge explosion incidents.
To address this situation, our company employs a solution that includes pre-sampling and pre-treatment, on-site oxygen level display, and automatic nitrogen purging or power shutdown of the centrifuge. Additionally, based on system requirements, the solution can transmit signals through a 4-20mA output.
