The Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) Analyzer uses Thermo Fisher Scientific's 43i Type Pulse Ultraviolet Fluorescence Analyzer, which is known for its stable and reliable performance, simplicity, and ease of use. The 43i Type SO2 Analyzer employs patented pulse fluorescence technology, with a minimum detection limit as low as 1 ppb.

By utilizing a pulse ultraviolet light source, the instrument enhances light intensity, providing higher ultraviolet energy, which in turn reduces the minimum detection limit. The 43i uses a reflective bandpass filter, unlike the traditional transmissive filters. This reflective filter minimizes photochemical degradation and improves light selectivity.

This improvement not only enhances the instrument's detection capabilities but also significantly increases its long-term stability.
